Pet Anthemz ("we," "us," or "our") operates PetAnthemz.com, a service that creates custom songs and videos about people's pets. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We've kept it short and plain because we don't sell your data and we don't use it for anything beyond running and improving our service.

Information We Collect

When you use Pet Anthemz, we collect:

Your email address, which you provide so we can deliver your songs and send you notifications and reminders.
Information about your pet, including your pet's name and any traits, quirks, activities, and other details you enter to personalize your song's lyrics.
Photos you upload, which are used to generate your personalized video after a purchase.
Payment information, when you make a purchase. Payments are processed by Stripe, and your full card details are handled directly by Stripe — we never see or store your complete card number.
Basic usage data, collected through Plausible Analytics (a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics tool) and the Meta Pixel and similar advertising tools, which help us understand how people find and use our site and measure the performance of our ads.

You do not need to create an account to use Pet Anthemz.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Generate your custom songs and videos and deliver them to you.
Send you notifications when your songs are ready, reminders if you leave before listening, and support-related messages.
Process your purchases.
Understand site traffic and improve our service.
Measure and improve our advertising.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing purposes.

Using Your Pet's Song in Our Promotions

We may want to feature songs and videos created on Pet Anthemz in our marketing — for example, on social media. We will always ask for your permission first before publicly posting any song, video, or pet details that you created.

Service Providers We Share Data With

To run Pet Anthemz, we share information with trusted third-party companies that help us operate the service. They are only permitted to use your information to perform services for us. These include:

Payment processors, which handle your purchases securely.
AI song and video generation providers, which receive your pet details, lyrics, and uploaded photos to create your songs and videos.
Music distribution providers, used only if you purchase the streaming add-on to publish your song to Spotify and Apple Music.
Email and hosting providers, which deliver your content and store your files.

We do not sell your personal information or share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Data Retention

Free, watermarked previews are deleted after the 2-hour preview window ends.
Purchased songs and videos are stored indefinitely so you can re-download them whenever you like.
Your email address and pet information are retained so we can deliver your content and provide support.

Deleting Your Data

You can ask us to delete your data at any time. Just email [email protected] and request deletion, and we will remove your personal information from our systems. Note that we may be unable to delete information already published to a third-party platform (such as a song already released to Spotify through the streaming add-on).

Children's Privacy

Pet Anthemz is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Users between 13 and 18 should use the service only with the involvement and permission of a parent or guardian. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes may also be communicated by email.
